Mary Lindsey grew up in Louisiana and studied fine art and Interior Design at Louisiana Tech University. After a number of years, pursuing her
career in Dallas, she now lives in Fredericksburg, Texas.
In addition to being a commercial and residential designer, she is a dedicated Artist and has been perfecting her lifetime passion of oil painting through numerous workshops, classes and organizations such as Oil Painters of America and American Women Artists. Mary’s work portfolio includes still life, animals, children, art commissions, murals, and some painting for an art publisher.
Figurative and landscape works interest her, but her real passion is painting still life. “I love the endless designs that can be
found in the simple arrangements of still life objects. The drama of how a pear can look with light and shadow effects, always inspires me. I feel that it is a never-ending quest of elevating the ordinary for others to enjoy”
